So sorry I din't notice it.
When you just type feh, does it do anything? and what user are you using to launch it? Feel free to contact me directly.

Re: raspberry pi pictureframe using NOOBS build

I've tried a couple versions of this guide and am never able to end up with feh actually automatically launching. Do you have thoughts or advice for this seemingly straightforward task?

Re: Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and FlickrFrame

Figured it out. Very easy to follow. It was even simpler than the previous ones. I even used 12.10 instead of 12.04 with no problems.

One question though. I want to pull photos from my personal photostream, not a group or favorites. When I put in my id, no pictures download and the log says there aren't any there. I also tried this with another photostream that had a ton of pictures. Same result.

Is there a way to download them directly from the photostream? The only walk around I have found is to create a group, add my pictures to it, and then download them using the group id, but that is kind of a pain.

Re: OMG, my feedburner feeds are missing after migrating to google apps

mine are already gone. You would want to map it into the pictures directory so it gets read each time by the slideshow.
https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Mou...

Hope this helps. The process would be a little different in that you would eliminate the flickrframe synch piece and just change your photos directory to point to a locally mapped drive or SMB share on your network.

Something tells me you may want more instructions, so let me see what I can do about writing something up.

As always, thanks for stopping by and commenting. Can't wait to get home and try it out! Do I have to use Flickr? How would I go about using my shared network drive that has all my photos or perhaps a more specific folder on the shared drive?
